Europe’s Apex Chamber joined Horasis to organize the Global India Business Meeting in Naples
The 2011 Global India Business Meeting held in Naples from 26-27 June 2011 called upon the government of India to accelerate the pace of economic reforms
and take into consideration the inclusive growth to enable the vast majority of Indians to participate in the globalization process. The meeting helped
define Indian firms’ global growth agenda as Indian CEOs met with their global counterparts to discuss and create new models of cooperation.
The meeting was organized by Horasis and Europe India Chamber of Commerce and co-hosted by FICCI (Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry)
and Region of Campania, the Campania Innovazione, and Naples Chamber of Commerce. More than 300 delegates from the public and private sectors convened
under the theme “Globalising Indian Firms”. The 2011 GIBM brought together heads of business, finance, human resources, procurement and technology to
discuss and debate business transformation strategies and approaches. The conclave provided special networking occasions and was the ideal place to develop
new relationships, share knowledge and best practices, debate key transformational and management practices, and network with peers and experts.
